I am pleased to pass on the link to a wonderful blog presented by Patricia Belyea who, in addition to her own quilting and teaching, has been visiting artists who work in the quilt genre. She visited me in the middle of April and since then has made a trip to Los Angeles and posted very interesting reports. I am sure that you will enjoy her visit with me as well as her other articles.

I am currently spending my Saturdays at the LaConner Quilt and Textile Museum with my Solo Exhibit on the third floor. The show runs thru June 29 so there are many more Saturdays to see me as well as my work!
The Honolulu Star Advertiser’s travel editor puts the Quilt Museum at the top of her “must do” list because “this is really two museums in one. It’s housed in the Mansion, a turreted, three-story Victorian beauty built in 1891 by one of the town’s early merchants.”
My entry into Quilt Visions 2014 has been accepted for the exhibition. It will be seen from October 3, 2014 to January 4, 2015. This is a very prestigious international art quilt show and I am very pleased to be included. The first time I exhibited an art quilt was at the Quilt Visions show in 2006. What a treat to be included again!
On the 11th of March, 2011, Fukushima and much of northeast Honshu was devastated by the chaos of a 9.0 earthquake offshore. Eleven 3 Eleven is meant to honor those who were lost and those whose lives and homes were forever changed on that day.
