I have received notice that Eleven 3 Thirteen which is currently being shown at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY will be shown again in the Spring of 2014.  It has been juried into Art Quilt Elements 2014 which will be held just outside Philadelphia on the Main Line at the Wayne Art Center. The exhibition  opens March 21 and closes May 3.

I will be attending the opening weekend events with my friend Helen Remick who also has had a quilt accepted.  In April this year we were both award winners and went together to Rio de Janeiro to make presentations at the Patchwork Design show there.  I am looking forward to traveling with her again.

Her quilt is titled Les Fleurs de la Maladie 4.  You can see more of her work at:

As you can see, we are very individual in our inspiration and technique.  That what makes exhibition such as this so special. Each quilt represents what the jurors consider to be the best of the artist’s work at present.

The list of artists whose work is included in this show includes many who are well known and I am looking forward to seeing their work in person, especially that of Michael James, who has a piece in the show. You will find the list of artists at:
