Japanese Quilts go to Brazil

I have discovered a You Tube video from my Brazilian friend Zeca Madeiros whose Patchwork Design Exhibitions in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro have focused on bringing the world’s best Art Quilts to Brazil (see my post of May 13, 2013).

Zeca made a trip to Tokyo to arrange for some of the quilts from the 11th Quilt Nihon to be in his Brazilian exhibitions in March and April of 2014.  These are  quilts created by Japanese artists.  He created this video to share his experience:

The You Tube post is wonderful for me because it reminds me of my trips to Japan and shows both Zeca and staff members at Nihon Vogue in Tokyo who have made my experiences in Japan so memorable.  That is Zeca on the right  with my Japanese friends enjoying “Splash of Flowers” made by Kimko Kido .
